报告摘要

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
21cm signal from hydrogen hyperfine energy split promises to revolutionize cosmology with its capability to map out the thermal and ionization evolutions of the first half of our observable Universe. This talk discusses how dark matter can change the cosmic ionization and temperature and how 21cm can be used to constrain dark matter properties. Based on our recent works on EDGES and SKA data analysis, I will also review how one can extract 21cm signal and reconstruct cosmic ionization history from 21cm experiments.
报告人简介:
Junsong Cang is a postdoctoral fellow at Scuola Normale Superiore and SlSSA in Italy (2024-2028, under joint supervision of Prof Andrei Mesinger and Roberto Trotta). He received his PhD in 2023 from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, working on the searches for dark matter and primordial black holes using CMB, 21cm and gravitational wave. He now mainly works on 21cm cosmology and the epoch of reionization, his recent and ongoing research projects include data analysis for SKA and EDGES, development of 21cmFAST simulation tool.
